Principal duties include, but are not limited to:Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Identify what is needed from Plate Group Divisions to be supplier approved.Own coordination between divisions and suppliers to help with smooth communication and execution.Bridge commercial, quality, and operations gaps around supplier requirements.Specialize in Armor initially but could expand to other plate group supplier approvals such as wind and API.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in related field3+ years in supplier qualityLegally authorized to work in the United States.Nucor Plate Group will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future.
